These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Basquelanders website and the booking of private tours and travel experiences provided by Basquelanders ("Basquelanders," "we," "us," or "our").

By making a booking with Basquelanders, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Bookings & Payment

• All journeys are bespoke and subject to availability, including the availability of our partner wineries, restaurants, guides, and artisans.

• A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before your journey begins, as set out in your booking confirmation.

• Rates are quoted per itinerary and may change without prior notice until a deposit has been received.

• A valid credit card may be required to secure reservations for accommodations, private venues, or experiences included in your journey.

• Cancellations or modifications may be subject to fees as stated in your booking confirmation. Because many of our experiences involve limited-capacity, invitation-only access, cancellation terms may vary by itinerary.

• We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings.

2. Your Journey

• Itineraries are curated around each guest and may include private visits, tastings, meals, and encounters with our partners across the Basque Country.

• Timings, venues, and hosts are confirmed ahead of your journey but may be adjusted where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, harvest conditions, or partner availability. We will always aim to offer an equivalent experience in such cases.

• Some experiences take place on working properties (wineries, farms, fishing boats, kitchens) and may involve uneven terrain, physical activity, or exposure to the outdoors. Please inform us in advance of any mobility, dietary, or medical considerations so we can plan accordingly.

• Guests must be of legal drinking age to participate in wine tastings and related experiences.

3. Guest Conduct

• Guests are expected to treat our partners, their properties, staff, and fellow guests with respect at all times.

• Basquelanders reserves the right to end a guest's participation in an experience, without refund, if their conduct puts others, our partners, or our relationships with them at risk.

4. Liability

• Basquelanders is not liable for personal injury, illness, theft, or loss of personal belongings during your journey, except where caused by our negligence.

• We act as an intermediary in arranging access to third-party venues, transport, accommodations, and experiences, and are not liable for the acts or omissions of these independent partners, except where required by applicable law.

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property during a visit or experience arranged by Basquelanders.

• Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documentation, visas, and any health requirements applicable to their trip.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Basquelanders website (text, images, logos, and designs) is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify this content without our prior written consent.

6. Photography & Media

With your permission, photographs or video taken during your journey may be used by Basquelanders for marketing purposes. You may decline this at any time by informing your host or contacting us directly.

7. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Changes to These Terms

Basquelanders reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Basque Country, Spain.
