A LIFE
CONNECTED
to Place
For more than two decades, Gaizka has explored the Basque Country through its wine, gastronomy, and cultural traditions, building relationships with the people who give this place its character. From vineyard tables and family kitchens to village celebrations and everyday encounters, these experiences offered a perspective rarely found in guidebooks.
Carlos arrived at a similar appreciation from a different direction. Raised between cultures and languages, he was driven by curiosity to travel around the world, from South America and Southeast Asia to Japan and Namibia. The further he traveled, the more he came to value what made the Basque Country unique.
Together, they founded Basquelanders to share Euskadi as it is lived: through its people, its stories, and the moments that are often left unspoken.
