Hello, thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I am a 46-year-old born and raised in Bilbao, a city that embodies the heart of the Basque Country. My journey in tourism began 26 years ago, when I completed my degree in Tourism, a field that I have been passionate about ever since. Throughout these years, I have dedicated myself to understanding the unique blend of culture, tradition, and innovation that makes the Basque Country such a special destination.

For the past years, I have had the privilege of working with the most prestigious Txakoli winery in Biscay, where I spearheaded the development of their tourism program. This experience allowed me to dive deep into the world of Basque wines, connect with winemakers, and design experiences that bring the richness of our terroir to life for visitors.

Currently, I am honored to serve as the president of the Wine Tourism Association of Biscay. In this role, I work closely with other passionate professionals to promote our region as a premier destination for wine lovers. I'm also the founder of this DMC (Destination Management Company), where I guide small exclusive groups, offering them tailored experiences that showcase the best of our world-renowned gastronomy, local wineries, and the hidden gems of the Basque countryside.

Whether it’s exploring the intricacies of Basque wine or uncovering the cultural treasures of our land, I am here to provide a unique, immersive experience that goes beyond the ordinary.

For those who don't know me, I’ve spent over two decades in the wine industry, collaborating with a range of importers and distributors, as well as with the company I helped found nearly 15 years ago. This beautiful journey has not only deepened my connection to the world of wine, but also led me to one of the most unique and vibrant regions I’ve ever encountered: the Basque Country.

Through the years, I’ve come to deeply understand and admire the Basque people—their culture, their traditions, and above all, their exceptional way of enjoying life. They’ve taught me how to live more fully than my old self ever imagined.

Today, I combine my lifelong passion for fine wines with the spirit of adventure that has always kept me young at heart. I invite you to follow in my footsteps and discover one of the oldest and richest living cultures in Europe. Let me show you who the Basques truly are—through their food, their wines, and their joyful, authentic way of life.
